I agree that this is a video somewhat suitable for children. They enjoy it. They sing along to it. They mimic the childish flirtations between the two human main characters. All-in-all, a passable kids' movie.

Unfortunately, this is a family movie, and for a good reason. Younger children might be frightened by the many "scary" scenes in the movie, though the movie gets predictable at times. Some scenes may be too difficult to understand, even for adults, as it holds a great deal of symbolism. It's a very '90s movie.

But though I may somewhat dislike-- even hate-- this movie, I recommend you watch it at least once. Your children will like it, and though this may be a bore for you after they insist on watching OVER and OVER and OVER again, do it for the kids.
